Discussion
There are some important facts of the study in the Hungarian University such as some absences could affect the study owing to family and health issues which made it difficult to control. In contrast, it was positive the integration of memory training and English classes because it could have worked for the natural context of foreign language learners. A disadvantage was the difference of levels of the same group because some of the more advanced students felt bored doing things they already knew, in addition where the activities were more difficult the students of the basic level did not understand so they got a frustration felt.
An interesting factor during the process is that some of the learners of an experimental group started using the nhemonic technique on their own when they consider it necessary. Finally, the motivation after the course was greater due to several seniors continue studying English. (Journal of Education Culture and Society 2012 p.96-97)
The Brazilian University reflects on facts like the results are based on a very small group of 25 participants so It is possible to have significant differences if the study would have done with a larger group of people. The educational institution believed this study is relevant in the country because it had not been easy to find similar studies focused on this group of students. The study mentioned that this study could be a good tool of consultation for teachers who have this type of population and the importance of the learning strategies and motivations for better learning performance.
